GREENING THE OFFICE

If your business produces things, it’s pretty obvious you can take steps to reduce its environmental impact:

• Deal with waste and emissions carefully
• Reduce power consumption
• Use environmentally friendly materials and recycle

Less obviously, an office-based business can do its bit too:

• Use less paper and recycle paper
• Reduce power consumption
• Use recycled and recyclable supplies

Being environmentally friendly can reduce a business’s costs. A simple example: reduce the amount of rubbish produced and down goes the cost of disposing of it.
